Brad Minns: After 15 years as a tennis professional and personal fitness trainer, now expanding into modeling, acting, and motivational speaking.

In 1995, not being content with just playing professional tennis at the World level, he began body building in earnest. He was so adept at it, that he won the P.A.S./Experimental and Applied Sciences nutritional supplement contest and became their second national spokesperson.

So The World May Hear Awards Gala 2005: The Starkey Hearing Foundation held its fifth annual Awards Gala and raised a record $4+ million. Garth Brooks, who attended the event with his fiancée, fellow country singer Trisha Yearwood, showed his appreciation for the recognition by bidding $250,000 during the live auction to fund a Starkey mission to South Africa to give hearing aids to people in need.

From The Orlando Sentinel archive: Late-night channel surfers may remember the face from an old fitness infomercial. Most of them cannot relate to the body, chiseled in that perfect place between good shape and too muscular.

That exercise machine has been discontinued, but Minns keeps going, adding tennis clippings and magazine covers to his wall of frames.
