Dear Coach Minns,
I just wanted to say thank you so much for this awesome season this year. I have learned so much from you and am very thankful. You have inspired me to do my best on the court and off the court, you inspired me to be a better Christian and servant to God. These lessons will help me throughout my entire life. Once again, thank you so much, and I look forward to playing for you next year.
Thank you so much for these great 12 weeks where you helped me realize how wonderful it is to be healthy and strong. My life has changed and you are a big part of this positive revolution! I can’t wait to set new goals and only live a better life day after day! Warm blessings.
I first met Brad Minns after I moved here in 2001. He became my tennis coach, and continues to coach me to become the best tennis player that I can be.
After I was hit by a car while riding my triathlon bike in 2009, the accident
left me with two herniated discs, pelvic damage, and a severely bruised back. Not only was I still suffering from the painful effects of the accident, but I had gotten out of shape due to lack of exercise and bad eating habits. I asked Brad if he could help me feel better through weight training. I had never lifted any real weights before—only small dumbbells for the most part. Brad eased me into a weight regime with care and concern, and taught me many things about weightlifting that I never knew. Within two weeks of working out with Brad, my pain improved, and I actually started sleeping through the night for the first time in many months. After about five weeks, I no longer had any pain in my neck or back. Brad asked me if I would like to participate in the Body for Life Challenge. I picked up the book; read it; and said yes. We worked together throughout the BFL 12 week challenge, and I can honestly say that it’s one of the greatest experiences I have ever had. Brad taught me about good nutrition as well, which was something else that I wanted to improve. Thanks to Brad, my core is solid, I am eating clean, and feel and look better now than I did when I was in my twenties.I plan on participating in my first women’s figure competition this year, and
Brad has been the inspiration to get me there. His positive attitude and
sincere desire to keep you fit are what make him the great trainer he is today.
I am behind on thanking you with all you did with and for Thomas. Your influence and faith will go with him the rest of his life. God uses people in their lives in all different ways. Yours is one of His awesome ways. Thanks, you have benefited his body and his life.
In the four years that I have known Brad as my personal trainer, I have also come to know that the talents given to him by the Lord are many. The best professional tennis player I know personally in addition to his high quality of really caring about his clients and thereby helping them achieve their dreams and interests. Inevitably, I have witnessed those clients become in the end what I have, a real friend.
When I first met Brad, he was my tennis instructor at a local community park. He really helped me by pointing out new techniques and improving my tennis habits. With his help I was able to elevate my game to the competitive level that I enjoy today. Having been exposed to Brad’s inspirational and upbeat personality, I became interested in exploring his personal training services. I have weight trained with Brad for the past 12 months and have achieved much more than a well toned and fit appearance. I have learned what a “fitness lifestyle” means and how to live it. His motivation and commitment in working with me has had an immeasurable impact on my self-esteem, my confidence in my physical capabilities and helped me develop a champion mentality.
Since I’ve met Brad, I’ve been motivated to live life to the fullest and never give up on my dreams.
Being a mother of two and turning 30 years old, working out with Brad has made a huge impact on my mind and body. My body is firmer and more defined than ever before! Brad has this ability to motivate and guide you spiritually on the importance of good health and mind. I always say whenever I’m down that the day calls for a “dose of Brad Minns”, and that gets you pumped up and pushes you to do your best.
